Failing to Learn

Are you failing? And learning from that experience?
Or are you failing to learn from that experience.

Fail is such a big word in our society. And a big bad word. So we do not want to associate any situation with failing, and with our activity.

But fail IS an important part of learning. IF one looks at the ‘failure’ and assesses what about that situation didn’t work the way you thought it was going to work.

What were the non human factors that caused the fail?
What were the human factors?
What were YOUR contributions to the fail?
What would you do different, to cause a different outcome?
What are you going to do with the answers to these questions?

My Lesson: Failure is only a failure if you fail to learn.
What do you learn from my thoughts/metaphor/story?
